I am a professor of English at Temple College, where I have taught for over 10 years and have received the NISOD Excellence Award and the 2023 Claudia and W.T. Barnhart Teacher of the Year Award. In Spring 2026, I will begin teaching one course a semester at Texas A&M University Central Texas in the new Temple College University Center. I earned a doctorate in Theatre History and Dramatic Literature from Louisiana State University, where I was a Board of Regents Fellow. I am also a graduate of St. Edward's University, where I was awarded Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year and earned a Master of Liberal Arts degree with a specialization in English literature.
I am a proud member of the Dramatists Guild, ScriptWorks, and the Writer’s League of Texas. My plays have toured Louisiana and have been performed in New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, Houston, and at Georgia Southern University, where I was a keynote artist for the 2013 Patti Pace Performance Festival. I also write poetry, fiction, and English language arts curriculum. My work has been published by Next Stage Press, Scriptworks, Zoetic Press, and Routledge in the series of Advanced Curriculum from the Center for Gifted Education at William and Mary. I prefer to be addressed as Dr. Krejci or Dr. K. You may also address me as Professor Krejci. I use the pronouns he, him, and his. You are welcome to share your preferred pronouns and name with me.

I am primarily monolingual, which means that I only know one language well. I speak English, but I have some reading fluency in Spanish, French, German, and Latin. I do not have enough fluency to communicate well in any language other than English or to grade work written in any language other than English. If you speak a language other than English and want to teach me a few words or phrases, I am an eager learner.
